এবারের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় ও বিভিন্ন চাকরির লিখিত পরীক্ষায় ইংরেজি রিটেন অংশে আসার মতো সবথেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টপিক।

100 Birth Year Celebration “Mujib Borsho” of very iimportant of the Nation of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman to be celebrated with due respect from March 17, 2020, to March 26, 2021, through yearlong various programmes nationally & globally.

 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was born at Tungiparha in Gopalganj on Mar 17, 1920. He spearheaded the Bengalis’ liberation struggle and Bangladesh emerged as an

independent country from Pakistan on the world map in 1971.

promoting the role of Bangabandhu at the grassroots level in Bangladesh's independence struggle, the return anniversary of Bangabandhu, the founding anniversary of the Awami League , National Mourning Day and Jail Killing Day will be celebrated every year as well.

UNESCO also made the decision unanimously to celebrate the “Mujib Borsho” together with Bangladesh.

"মুজিব বর্ষ" হল শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্মশতবার্ষিকী পালনের জন্য ঘোষিত বর্ষ। বাংলাদেশ সরকার ২০২০-২১ সালকে মুজিব বর্ষ হিসেবে পালনের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে। ২০২০ সালের ১৭ মার্চ থেকে ২০২১ সালের ২৬ মার্চ পর্যন্ত এ বর্ষ উদ্‌যাপন করা হবে।

বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ১৯৩০ সালের ১ মার্চ গোপালগঞ্জের টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। তিনি বাঙালির মুক্তি সংগ্রামের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিলেন। 

ইউনেস্কোও বাংলাদেশের সাথে "মুজিব বর্ষ" উদযাপনের সর্বসম্মতভাবে সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।
